Biography[edit]

Nawab Mir Alam ali khan ;Alam yar jung bahadur,grand son of Sajjad Hussain khan and son of Sardar bahadur ,Col.the Nawab Hashim Nawaz jung bahadur O.B.I,was born on 18th november 1888(11th daye 1298 fasli),He got educated at the "Madarsa-e-aliya"&"Nizam college".Here He had passed His B.A & B C L.For a short period he served as a Cadet in the Army ,Then left to england,at the Oxford university he Beacame barrister-at-law,returned back to India.soon on reaching India he was appointed as the "Munsif-darj-e-awal"in the court of Beerad(a place in India) and within a short period He was also appointed as the"nazim-sardar-e-adalat"at the Court of Gulbarga.For long time He served as the Inspecting officer for the Court's of the government of Andhra pradesh.Later in his retired life he also remained as the law minister of Andhrapradesh.(A vivid discription of his is avialable in a rare book which was published in 1939 "who's who in hyderabad deccan"also known as "musheer-e-alam directory"or"Baagh-E-Dilkusha" Author is Samsam shirazi,which contain's name's of all the well known nawab's and jagirdar's under the H.E.H Nizam Osman ali khan for eg:-Nawab sultan ali khan bahadur,padmavibhushan Nawab Mehdi nawaz jung....).

Nawab Alam yar jung remained single throught his life,His father Mir Hashim Ali Khan was married to Zakia Begum. The couple had four sons and four daughters. The sons included Nawab Alam Yar Jung,[1] Nawab Talib Ali Khan, Accountant General of Hyderabad, Subhan Ali Khan, Barrister-at-law & Iqbal ali khan. The daughters included Mehdi Begum, Tahira Begum and Wazir Begum.
