Spark Theory is a theory involving the biochemical reactions in the human brain which cause the emotion of love.

Spark theory suggests that a human mind has certain nerve-like structures within it, one of which is activated when a person falls in love. These structures are known as sparks. The theory also seems to suggest that it would be possible to trigger a spark via an external trigger.

The theory was first developed by Dr. Courtney Howlett in 2047. It is now being used to develop a personal device known as the STID (Spark Trigger Inducement Device), by Topaz Industries.
