Bazaarvoice is an American-based multinational internet marketing company specializing User-generated content in the form of customer reviews. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, with offices in London, Paris, and Singapore, Bazaarvoice is one of America's largest social marketing companies, with 525 clients globally including Best Buy, Dell, Macy's, Costco, and Home Depot.

Company founder Brett Hurt started the venture after web analytics data from his then company Coremetrics showed a strong correlation between the sales conversion rate and the quality of customer reviews. Since 2005, Bazaarvoice has grown from 14 original employees to over 400 in 4 countries by "soliciting, screening and analyzing reviews on the retailer's behalf, then feeding data from those reviews back to retailers so they can modify their sales methods".[2]
