"Article Evaluation"[edit]

I am evaluating the article society[1]

Evaluating Content[edit]

The article is relevant to the topic in the beginning and middle. The article is a little off topic towards the end. The author gives more attention to what types of societies are out there or been there instead of focusing on what society is and how it shapes a human being. The society has a lot of contribution in shaping a human being and makes him what he is, the article could have focused more on that instead of going in depth of what types of society exist now or existed in the past. The role of society in human life and existence is big and there is lot to say about it and author could have focused on it more. The author gives different definitions of society according to different perspectives which is quite helpful for anyone who want to go in depth of what society is. This article has insufficient citations and the sources are unclear which makes it unreliable.

Evaluating tone[edit]

The article is heavily based on information about society and different types of societies. The author gives a little attention to what society is in political science but writes a huge paragraph about what society is in sociology. The view point in political science is underrepresented. other than that It is written in neutral way in other parts of the essay and does not seem to have a bias about a specific viewpoint.

Evaluating sources[edit]

The links to the citation work and support the claims in the article. The sources remain unclear and insufficient.

Talk Page[edit]

The article needs more attention and work. The article is rated as C class and high importance on the scale. It is a part of Wiki project anthropology, organizations and philosophy.

The suggestions made by one of my peer were useful and I am always open to suggestions. The suggestion that I need to do more research on the topic to provide reliable sources is very good. The article definitely need more research from reliable sources. The article is neutral and that's what my peer noticed too. The suggestions will definitely help me to make this article better.
