Ammtimes: This user published and edited a newspaper in northern NH called The Ammonoosuc Times, named for the Ammonoosuc River which flows from Mount Washington west to the Connecticut River. The paper was published from Dec. 2001 to Feb. 2008. My previous endeavors included publishing and editing Magnetic North Magazine (1983-1991), writing a walking tour of Littleton, NH, and, as a freelancer, writing about the history and natural features of the White Mountains region. I am now semi-retired. My participation in the Wiki is intended to add, check or correct facts in entries that describe the White Mountains region and its people.
I will begin by improving the entry on the Mount Washington Cog Railway. Once familiar with Wiki editing, I would like to add a page about Sylvester Marsh, inventor of the MWCR.
