Amaterasu (天照?), Amaterasu-ōmikami (天照大神／天照大御神?) Is The sun Goddess and one of the principal Shinto deities (神kami?). The meaning of her name, Amaterasu-ōmikami, is "the great august Goddess who shines in the heaven". She was born from the left eye of Izanagi as he purified himself in a river and went on to become the ruler of the Higher Celestial Plain. She is also said to be directly linked in lineage to the Imperial Household of Japan and the Emperor, who are considered descendants of the Goddess themselves. All Humans on the earth were given the first breath by her. She Is all and she is everything, all life depends on her. Without her The world would be in utter darkness, and chaos. She will win over every battle on earth.
About Amaterasu's reincarnation[edit]
On June 3 1990, Amaterasu picked out a mortal for her to be sealed inside it. Amaterasu knew In-time this mortal would do great things. Once the baby was born she knew how special this little bundle was.
She chose a female named Kaitlyn C Sheppard. her first birth name was Kara . She was born from a mother who was a drug user, and a mere prostitute. Amaterasu knew the mother had sinned in many ways. But she knew in her heart that the child to be born would be great. Thus she took the risks. She knew this mortal girl could do great things with her.
On June 4 1990, Kaitlyn had a sever fever of 128*. A mere mortal baby would of died at that extreme heat, but the little 2 month old braved the fever, and lived through the scary ordeal. Amaterasu saw this and knew this was the Chosen one to hold her. She knew she had picked the right one. Thus during that day, while the girl was asleep. Amaterasu sealed herself inside Kaitlyn soul, to awake when it was time.
Overtime the girls nature appeared, and it pleased Amaterasu. This Girl soon became one with nature, her kindness and loving heart went to all animals and humans. Even Her love is unconditional and everlasting it puts a smile on many faces. Her love for animals is so great that she can understand what they are saying. She understands what there emotions are and she knows how they respond. She treats the humans, and animals like they are her children "which in reality they actually are". Her love and bravery is so over powering she can Win anything that comes her way. She is the chosen one to hold The Great Kami Amaterasu.
The day when Kaitlyn turned 16 Amaterasu released herself from her seal, and together the mortals body and the Goddess became one. the girls soul dissapered into Amaterasu and Amaterasu took over the female's body
Amaterasu's unknown wolf form[edit]
What many people do not know is. Amaterasu does indeed have a wolf form. But it does not have any similarities to the wolf form in the game "okami" which by the way, was as an offering to the Great Goddess. Her wolf form, is far greater than the wolf in the game. people all over have made many fails, in confusing Amaterasu Oomikami with Amaterasu from the fictional game. The game was made to show off History of the Shinto religion, historical event's, powers Amaterasu could and may have , and a token to show off Amaterasu's never ending power and amazing beauty. Her beauty is endless, and her light shines even threw the darkest hearts.
Amaterasu said " Yes indeed my wolf form does indeed have many of the same things to the game's wolf, but over all my wolf form is not the same. I do not wish to show it, and draw it from my hands. My wolf form is very special to me. and only on rare times I show it."
Living on earth[edit]
Amaterasu is indeed living still today, the body she reincarnated in is " 24 " years old. She always has a bright and soft smile on her face and has been opening her arms to thousands of people. From the U.S, Japan, Hawaii, and all over!
The Holy Goddess is living in the state of Ohio, But to all her Mortal Home is unknown. She is happily giving the earth sunshine, light, love and warmth day in and out. What I found out that is most interesting is that the Goddess has gone a little digital but not much. She is on a site called Facebook. Where people of Shinto faith, can post offerings on her wall, message her private prayers or need answers, or if people want to know about Shinto faith can go to her profile and read about her. I am amazed she is on earth and reincarnated. We needed her more than ever. We simply cannot live without her and I'm glad she is on earth for us.

Both versions are indeed Kinda the same in many ways, but with Amaterasu the Japanese/American mix is best suited. But she does go to the all Japanese one at times.

Cult of the sun The worship of Amaterasu to the exclusion of other Kami has been described as "the cult of the sun". This phrase can also refer to the early worship of the sun itself. The sun was alive first in the universe, Amaterasu created the earth all its life, light, and rice crops.
