Satyendra Narayan Singh (Born 6 February 1960 ) is a social worker, farmer, & politician. He is also a active BJP Member. He Sever as BJP Block President From 2010 to 2011. He is also Chairman of Eknar Rural Development Committee. He is Currently running for Jila Parishad Election From Hissua East. He also run a NGO name Yuva Vikas which provide free education to underprivileged students of the society.
Early life[edit]
Satyendra Narayan Singh was born on 6 February 1960 at Nawada, Bihar. His father, Madusudhan Singh, was a Clerk at Nawada Block and was known to be a very truthful and silent person. Madhusudan Singh had 4 brothers and he had to support them financially because of their poor family background. His mother was a housewife. He Graduated From TS College, Hisua, and during the time of graduation, he got married to Soni Devi on 22 February 1960. Satyendra Narayan Singh has 2 younger brothers and all 3 of them left home to earn their livelihood by themselves at a very young age. He had a lot of struggles for around 6 years. He worked as a security guard, driver, and also used to do part-time clothes stitching and embroidery works. With the hard work, he managed to get into a good clothes export firm as a field officer. But his father died of brain hemorrhage and he left Delhi with his wife and son and decided to stay in the village with his mother as he loved his mother a lot. Being elder brother he got the compassionate appointment(job) in government in place of his father but he sacrificed that for his younger brother. Satyendra has always been a motivation for progress wherever he stays. He brought a lot of changes in the village by motivating villagers for various events, building temples, cleaning irrigation water bodies every year, etc. He was leaving very happily but all of a sudden her mother was diagnosed with liver cancer and died in April 2018 after a struggle of 4 months. And in the same year, his wife also got diagnosed with gall bladder cancer in October and after a fight of 1 year with cancer she also passed away in October 2019 leaving Satyendra alone at his home.
Political career[edit]
Satyandra Narayan Singh belongs to a socialist class of politicians. He has been associated with RSS and BJP as an active member since the early 1990s. He always arranged and organized RSS Shakha in New Delhi in the area he lived. After coming to Bihar in 1998, he joined BJP as an active member and was appointed as BJP Block President from Hisua where he played an active role in the MLA elections in 2015 in which Anil Singh from BJP won by defeating Aadit Singh who was an MLA of Hisua block for 25 years.
He nominated for the Mukhiya elections in his Panchayat in 2001 but sacrificed it at the request of his uncle who wanted to contest for the same, and he took back his nomination. He got so much love and affection from the village people that despite taking his name out of that everyone calls him "Mukhiya Jee" till now. He was willing to contest in next term Panchayat elections too but couldn't nominate because of the seat reservation in Chhatihar Gram Panchayat.
He has also served as Jila Mantri in Nawada district for BJP and still working as a very active member.
He wants to contest for the Jila Parishad elections to be held in mid of 2021.
Social Life[edit]
Satyendra Narayan Singh has always been an organizer of many events in his area from his childhood days. He always participates and drives social, religious, and other such activities. He has been associated with Rashtriya Swyamsewak Sangha(RSS) since the early 1990s. He has always been an active member of the Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP) too.
Satyendra Narayan Singh established an NGO Yuva Vikas Trust with his son Akash deep Sharma to provide free education to the Underprivileged and poor kids in and around the village. Along with that he always motivates to plant more and more trees in the surroundings. He has set up his home as a school to provide general and computer education and training. Children and villagers of all age groups are provided with some basic technical skills. There are more than 200 kids who benefitted from that and it is continuing to add more.
He started the plantation activities on his grandson's second birthday by planting a banyan tree. For getting plants also, he is not dependent on anyone and he has set up a home-based nursery where he uses the waste milk packets to grow the plants. In this way indirectly Satyendra keeps trying to contribute towards pollution control awareness and also created a good source of plants. He always encourages people to celebrate their special moments by planting a tree. More than 300 plants are being planted every year out of which 150+ are now are in the stage of becoming trees.
As there is no gym facility in and near villages and also the people over there won't be able to afford to go to town for that, He did set up a small open gym (with homemade instruments) and a volleyball court which is adding to the physical growth of the kids and youth over there.
Along with these, he organizes cleaning drives, celebrates festivals by preparing acts and programs which are educational as well as fun.
He is a well-known personality in the Nawada district for his truthful and always giving nature.
