Aleksandar Dordic (a.k.a. Alek Darson) was born in Belgrade, Serbia. He found passion in guitar playing at the age of 10, which kept weaving music within his soul throughout high school, where he played with seniors in various pop/rock cover bands. In the final year of high school he attended primary school of music “Vladimir Djordjevic” for solo voice, graduated in 2005.

After discovering that music was the driving force of his life, he decided to dive into the music production waters. He graduated from VISER College in Belgrade as an Engineer of Audio and Video Technologies (2010), focusing on music production. In the meantime he develops a recording studio business called “Stretch Recording Studio”, by doing numerous diverse projects in areas of music production, composition, arrangement, sound design, etc. Although he pursued a producer’s career, he never stopped performing and learning music mostly in private lessons of jazz guitar (Danilo Karamarkovic), tonal harmony and musical forms (Olivera Kovacevic), counterpoint (Milan Djurdjevic), composition (Milan Djurdjevic), and solfege (Ivana Kovacevic). This educational process was one of the main reasons for his further pursue of musical education.

From the other side, he got involved in the “Organized Chaos” project in 2005 where he developed himself drastically as a guitar player, producer and arranger. This had a huge effect on his understanding of music, the process of music creation, and music industry, which he applied in his other projects. His guitar playing had a strong impact on his colleagues, which enabled him to perform with numerous famous Ex-Yugoslavian singers. For 5 years (2006-2011) he was on frequent international tours, TV shows and videos with Bojan Bjelic (2006), Seka Aleksic(2007) and a permanent member of Tropico Band (2008-2011) consequently. Today, he is perfecting his skills at Berklee College of Music, while working on his album, new “Organized Chaos” material, and an instrumental guitar project “Sound Barrier” with Branimir Stojiljkovic.
