Who Am I?

I'm a 31-year-old Christian woman, wife of HeirloomGardener, mother of a 4-year-old girl and a 21-month-old boy, living in Minnesota. I am a strong advocate of attachment parenting and a member of Gentle Christian Mothers. I believe that corporal punishment is not appropriate for children of any age and that spanking should only be employed between consenting adults who like that kind of thing. I am actually a proponent of non-punitive discipline, based on the belief that a child doesn't need to be shamed or made to feel badly about himself to learn new behaviors.
