DisOrientation Chapbooks was a small press based out of Calgary, Alberta. It was edited and produced by Nicole Markotic and Ashok Mathur. Its last publication was produced in 1997.[1]

When first starting DisOrientation Chapbooks, the idea according to Mathur was "to produce a radically alternative mode of publishing."[2] To do this, they produced books that were innovative in content and form (binding, paper type). They also worked with "less published people"
