A long-tracked tropical wave was designated as Test Hurricane on August 27, while it was located northeast of Florida. Then, the cyclone moved northeastward.[1] On August 28, the NHC's soldiers shot a bomb to its eye. Consequently, the hurricane weakened to a remnant low, which became extratropical on August 31. On September 3, the system dissipated over North Atlantic about 600 km of Scotland.[2]
