Presidents or First Secretaries[edit]

Somehow the LKP First Secretaries should not be appearing with the Lithuanian flag next to them, no? —PētersV (talk) 17:54, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Somehow LKP First Secretaries of puppet governments should not be confused with real presidents? And are "leaders" installed by force really "leaders" at all? And perhaps one should not imply a continuity of Lithuania (independent) to Lithuania (SSR) to Lithuania (independence restored)? Paleckis is not a past president or Lithuania, just as Kirchesteins is not a recognized president of Latvia. PētersV TALK 14:57, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Heads of state"?[edit]
