"History of the CPSU(B) Short Course"

Doesn't seem to be a Wikipedia article on this infamous book, but probably should be one. AnonMoos (talk) 04:06, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Now at The History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (Bolsheviks)m I guess... AnonMoos (talk) 19:47, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

controversies section

Must be split into more specific groups: politial repression, etc. Let us discuss this here first, to avoid multiple reshufffling the template.- Altenmann >talk 17:43, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

I changed label to "Crimes, repressions, and controversies" To call some things officially recognized officially as crimes by the successor of the perpetrator (ie, a confession) like Khatyn and Aardakh as mere controversies is devaluation/neutrality bias. We do not call the Holocaust a controversy to be neutral, nor do we call forced exile of nations "controversy".--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 17:46, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
Ok with that for now, but did you read my suggestion? - Altenmann >talk 17:55, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

Since stalin was dictatoor, nothing was done contrary him. So technically the whole history of the soviet union 1924-1953 may be squeezed into this template. Common sense says that this template must include only articles which demonstrate direct involvement of stalin.- Altenmann >talk 17:54, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

But for all practical purposes, we mean high crimes (like major war crimes done with his approval that are already listed in the section.) Controversy = fruit tree tax and other stub articles there; etc. The label is not for adding everything that can be added, it is the best way to describe the things currently listed. For example, Khatyn = genocide-crime. Doctors plot = repression-crime Fruit tax = Controversy/bad idea.--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 18:55, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
