In this edit I reverted the good-faith edit made by Zoupan in which Tōgyū was removed on the basis that it is "not bullfighting, but bull wrestling". The scope of the list from which this item was removed appears to be a very broad list of things that are widely construed as forms of bullfighting, and I interpret Zoupan's change to be a semantics complaint. Wrestling is a martial art, so by definition it is fighting. I don't understand the justification for the removal. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:46, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't have to be the same to be included. And I'm not even sure what you mean by "same" so long as there are different styles of bullfighting. The purpose of the navbox, and specifically the "types, styles and events" section appears to be to provide users with links to both related and similar subjects not to assert sameness. Anyway, I'm still not clear on how you differentiate wrestling from fighting. If the bulls are engaged in a physical power sport directly against another bull or a human opponent, it seems perfectly reasonable to include it here and removing the link seems oddly euphemistic, as if we're trying to destigmatize the sport by removing any relationship to general bull fighting. I'm sensitive to this possibility since a very similar thing happened over Jallikattu an Indian bull sport that had recently been banned by the Indian Supreme Court. Sympathetic editors kept trying to euphemize the article's description by describing the sport as "bull embracing" rather than as "bull taming" or "bull wrestling" or some more descriptive phrase.
