Template:WikiProject The KLF/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage[edit]

  • The template always goes onto Talk pages, not article pages
  • If the attached article is a Featured Article, use {{WPKLF|class=FA}}
  • If the attached article is a Good Article, use {{WPKLF|class=GA}}
  • For the other classes, use class= parameters of A, B, Start or Stub.
  • If the attached article is not in the main space (it's a category, Project page, etc.) use {{WPKLF|class=NA}} (class=Dab for disambiguation pages, class=Cat for categories) The template should put itself into the correct category if placed on e.g. the talk page of a template, file or category. Use {{WPKLF|class=Projects}} on WikiProject KLF pages; don't put the template onto redirect talk pages unless it is a redirect with possibilities i.e. we may want an article to appear there. In that case, use {{WPKLF|class=Redirect}}, then hopefully if somebody makes an article they will change the class and it will appear in the project log. For redirects from misspellings etc, just redirect the talk page too.
  • For other main space articles, simply use {{WPKLF}}. This default places the article in Category:Unassessed KLF articles.
  • importance= denotes the article's importance. The possible values are:

Other parameters:

  • electronic=yes Article is about electronic music
  • song=yes Article is about a song
  • album=yes Article is about an album
  • album-importance=Importance to WikiProject Albums
  • electronic-importance=Importance to WikiProject Electronic music
  • song-importance=Importance to WikiProject Songs (not yet implemented by that project)

The template must be transcluded ({{WPKLF}}) and not substituted (subst).
