Template:NYCS-routemap

This is a route-map template for a New York City Subway line.

Usage[edit]

This template should be added to all Route Diagram Templates of New York City Subway lines.

Adding an optional parameter will include the line name as a link, for example,

{{NYCS-routemap|BMT Broadway Line}}

will change the first line of the template to:

This is a route-map template for the BMT Broadway Line, a New York City Subway line.

If the optional named parameter |service= is included (with any argument), then "Subway line" will be changed to "Subway service". For example,

{{NYCS-routemap|service=T}}

will change the first line of the template to:

This is a route-map template for a New York City Subway service.

If the optional named parameter |service= is included (with any argument), then template will be included in Category:New York City Subway service templates‎.

Adding the optional parameter |cat=station will include the template in Category:New York City Subway station layout templates.

The optional named parameter |catidx= will add a sort key to the category.
