Wally Pipp[edit]

Wally Pipp

  • ... that in 1925, Wally Pipp (pictured) "took the two most expensive aspirin in history"?
  • ALT1:... that Wally Pipp's (pictured) benching in favor of Lou Gehrig has inspired numerous tales?
  • Reviewed: Pastila
  • Comment: ALT 1 isn't great, but presented anyway. I prefer going with Pipp's quote.

  • This is a newly promoted GA. It is long enough and nominated in the correct time frame. I made no attempt to consider close paraphrasing issues except in the references associated with the hook, which is accurate and cited. Going with the original hook which is more interesting. The image seems to be in the public domain. You had not done a QPQ Muboshgu, so I donated you one. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:21, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
