The Childhood of a Leader (film)[edit]

Created by Jockzain (talk). Nominated by Captain Assassin! (talk) at 04:06, 8 February 2015 (UTC).

Oh boy, filming's underway, I know. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 10:57, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
someone needs to get a review here! PanydThe muffin is not subtle 17:57, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
I haven't checked all criteria yet, but the cast section needs references, and QPQ is missing. -Zanhe (talk) 17:26, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Captain Assassin!, it's been over a week, and neither issue has been addressed: there are no references for the cast section, and the QPQ is still not supplied. These need to be addressed soon if the nomination is to proceed. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:17, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
  • I'll be addressing the problems soon. I was away very busy in my life for the last couple of weeks. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 16:31, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
  • QPQ performed, article was new enough when nominated. Article is big enough and nom credits correct person. Every paragraph outside plot is cited. Article is neutral. Hook links to article and is short enough. Debut fact is cited and confiemed in reference, But I see nothing to convince me that production is not yet finished. I can see it has started but how do we know when it will finish? Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:18, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
  • What I am saying is that the reference does not confirm the hook. I see work has started but I cannot tell from this statement that it still continues. Is there a reference to say how long it is expected or when it should be finished? Another issue is that the hook is not that interesting. Every film would go through production, so is there something more interesting for a hook, so that an alt is available for whoever wants to promote? Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:23, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
  • According to both sources 3 and 12, this is not Corbet's film directing debut but his feature film directing debut; he's already had a short film at Sundance (and maybe more; I didn't read further). Both the article and hook need to make this clear; I've struck the original hook per Graeme Bartlett and ALT1 due to this issue. It should be a fairly straightforward fix to specify that it's a feature film both in the article intro and body, since the sources make that clear. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:01, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • @BlueMoonset: First, for your information, we don't write "feature" with directing debut, because everyone knows the meaning of directorial debut. The word only uses for feature films not for short films. You will never see written word "feature" with directing debut, mostly. Because short films are not always films, sometimes those are videos, clips, etc. By the way, I've added per your issue. But I'm not agree with it, nor will anyone who know the word better. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 03:05, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
  • ALT2 hook is supported by sources 3 and 12. I made the grammatical change of "a" to "the". Approval restored based on Graeme Bartlett's previous review and a valid new hook. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:51, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
