Southern Girls[edit]

Created/expanded by Rlendog (talk). Self nom at 03:26, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

  • Article started the day before it was nominated, and is 3514b
  • Article is neutral
  • Citations are inline, and refs seem up to snuff
  • I know allmusic has been considered RS, and there are books and newspaper articles
  • AGF on offline refs (which refs the hook)
  • Content matches refs for all others
  • Nominator has QPQ
  • Hook is about 193 chars, and seems to be most interesting bit about the song
  • Hook does not infringe BLP
Questions / Issues
  • Ref 1 for allmusic gives me a 404 error. That needs fixing
  • I would like to see refs in the infobox, as some of that material isn't elsewhere in the article

  • Thank you for the review. I believe I have addressed the issues. Rlendog (talk) 13:36, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
  • One last thing before I pass this. "Bun E. Carlos' drumming on the song has come in for praise from critics..." sounds odd to me. If it remains accurate, I suggest "Bun E. Carlos' drumming on the song has been praised by critics..." Chris857 (talk) 17:26, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
  • I agree. I used your wording. Rlendog (talk) 17:31, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
  • Pass, AGF on offline sources. Chris857 (talk) 17:32, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
