Soundway Records[edit]

  • ... that Soundway Records has been named as "One of the 10 British Labels defining the Sound of 2014"?

Moved to mainspace by FrankyMB (talk) and MatthewVanitas (talk). Nominated by SSTflyer (talk) at 13:34, 6 October 2015 (UTC).

  • New enough, long enough, well referenced, neutrally written, no close paraphrasing seen. QPQ done. The hook is okay; if you want to use it, I think you should include the fact that The Guardian said it, and use the correct phrasing from the newspaper (I edited it in the article):
  • ALT1: ... that The Guardian named Soundway Records one of the "10 British recording labels defining the sound of 2014"?
  • But aside from the honor, that's a pretty generic factoid. I think that mentioning its revival of African, Caribbean, Latin, and Asian music would be a lot catchier. Yoninah (talk) 21:10, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
  • I agree. ALT2: ... that Soundway Records has released compilation albums and re-issues of African, Caribbean, Latin, and Asian music from the 1950s to 1980s? sst✈discuss 23:54, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks, that works! ALT2 hook ref verified and cited inline. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 00:00, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
