Roman d'Alexandre en prose[edit]

A fifteenth-century manuscript illumination showing Alexander exploring the sea in a submarine

  • ALT1:... that the thirteenth-century Old French Roman d'Alexandre en prose describes the adventures of Alexander the Great, including flying into the air and travelling under the sea (pictured)?
  • Reviewed: Roux Scholarship
  • Comment: The first hook is sourced (in the lead), the second isn't, as it's taken from the "plot" section. (I personally prefer the second)

  • Dates and lengths are good. AGF of hook facts and text concerns due to use of offline sources. Overall, looks like a nice article from a Wikipedia:GLAM/BL contributor. --Allen3 talk 18:15, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
