Red Onion State Prison[edit]

  • Reviewed: Operation Bertram
  • Comment: Sorry there's no picture of the facility itself. Requests have been made to key Wikipedians in Virginia, but I wanted to submit to DYK within the window. Also note: Many of the older sources come through ProQuest. This database "National Newspapers" is accessible through the website of my local library, and it may be available for you as well. (However, you don't even need ProQuest for the hook fact, which is sourced here and here.)

  • Was 1396 B (229 words) of readable porse until Groupuscule began expanding it on 2012-11-04. Now it's 9043 B (1461 words), or a roughly 6.5 times expansion. Refs appear to be to reliable sources (mostly newspapers like the Washington Post, official reports, etc). All statements accompined by an inline cite. File:ControlUnitTorture.jpg needs better tagging. I like the provocative hook! Curly Turkey (gobble) 04:37, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
