Phyllody[edit]

A green flower like structure composed of leaves.

  • ... that the green rose (pictured) is the result of phyllody, an abnormal plant condition where the floral parts develop into leaves?
  • Reviewed: TBD Myopia in animals
  • Comment: Apologies if it's a few days late. Got distracted with watching the US elections. Also still in progress, so please don't review just yet.

Created/expanded by Obsidian Soul (talk). Self nom at 04:03, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

  • Hook, date, length of expansion, image license checked. I have added alt text. All OK. --Snek01 (talk) 23:39, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
  • QPQ review still undone, and article is still in progress, as noted by nominator. Until QPQ has been completed, approval should not be given. BlueMoonset (talk) 07:27, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
  • QPQ given. Got a bit busy in real life, sorry for the delay again. I've finished the rest of the planned expansion after Snek01's review. It should be good enough for DYK as it is (though quality-wise, especially wording, I'm still not quite happy with it), please review again if necessary. Cheers. -- OBSIDIANSOUL 08:42, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
  • QPQ submitted; article and hook should be checked again after major expansion. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:57, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
  • A substantial good quality article. A five-fold expansion starting November 3rd, long enough and well sourced. The hook is sourced and the image appropriately licensed. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:18, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
