Philip Lutgendorf[edit]

Created by Gmcssb (talk). Self-nominated at 08:54, 15 June 2015 (UTC).

  • The prose is too short. I was able to convert the Honors section to prose, increasing prose count. However, the bulleted list does not count; currently, the prose character count is 797 (bytes). Add more prose, so the article might pass the 1,500-character minimum. George Ho (talk) 00:55, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
  • The article has more than 1,500 characters, so another review is needed. George Ho (talk) 21:53, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
The article exceeds 1500 characters, is suitably referenced without close paraphrasing or copyvio, and I've made some edits for clarity. QPQ doesn't appear to apply (Gmcssb has less than 5 nominees). However, I believe the hook should be slightly modified for relevance and better context, and to be a tad shorter and more direct, and submit ALT1 below consideration. --Animalparty! ALT1: ... that the research interests of American Indologist Philip Lutgendorf include Indian popular cinema and the culture of tea in India?
I've been informed one cannot approve one's own hooks, so requesting another reviewer to complete this nomination.--Animalparty! (talk) 07:38, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
