Oskar Czerwenka[edit]

  • ... that the bass Oskar Czerwenka appeared in 1084 performances at the Vienna State Opera and had a State music school (pictured) named after him? Source: the number of performances is in Kutsch, the name of the music school on several websites.
  • Reviewed: Coffee vending machine
  • Comment: I'd go for this hook because its unusual for an opera singer - and hasn't even mentioned that his former residence is part of the school. Otherwise, we can say that he was Ochs in Vienna, at the MET and in Glyndebourne.
