As the nominator mentions, this is some way short of the minimum 5x expansion, and the current period of expansion seems to date back to mid-April, making this too late as well. I'm not sure if WP:IAR could reasonably be said to apply here. Spokoyni (talk) 11:23, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
- Had this been the nominator's first nomination, I think this would have been permitted provided that they could commit to 5x. As it stands, the nominator has had previous nominations (albeit not enough for a QPQ to be needed) so it is assumed that they were familiar with DYK requirements. I would have been willing to allow this if it was already 5x regardless of the start date, but this is not the case. With this in mind, I am now closing this nomination, without prejudice towards this being renominated if it is brought to Good Article status. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:07, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
