Names of Soviet origin[edit]

Created by Altenmann (talk). Self-nominated at 05:12, 5 August 2015 (UTC).

  • Article was created in correct period, is long enough, NPOV. Hook is interesting and is under max length. However, I could not find the listing of "Oktyabrina" in the cited source (Peris), nor does that source support the sentence that it's attached to (maybe I just missed it). Furthermore, I believe that this article should be merged with Octobering, which seems to be so closely related as to not warrant a separate article. howcheng {chat} 20:46, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
    • Fixed; sorry; copied wrong ref. As for merging, completely oppose. You seem to be not familiar with the subject. These are completely different topics, and the second article is a stub only because I am lazy. Texts aplenty, in several languages. - üser:Altenmann >t 01:46, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
      • Correct, I am completely unfamiliar with the subject. I was only proposing the merge based on what was there right now. I will trust your judgement on the matter. One more suggestion: could you please transliterate the names that are in Cyrillic in the History section? Thanks. howcheng {chat} 17:54, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
        Done. - üser:Altenmann >t 19:38, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
This hook is good to go now. howcheng {chat} 05:54, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
