Mo Pop Festival[edit]

Moved to mainspace by Michael Barera (talk). Self-nominated at 23:06, 24 March 2018 (UTC).

  • Probably needs to be sectioned at least, since it's pretty long (4645 characters). At the very least, I could see that it could have a short lede section, and maybe two separate sections about its history and the events. In addition, the first paragraph might need to be rephrased slightly since it sounds slightly promotional. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 23:43, 17 April 2018 (UTC)
Thanks, Narutolovehinata5. I have addressed these issues, sectioning the article and trying to reduce the promotional tone of the lede. Please let me know if I need to make further improvements. Thanks again for your review! Michael Barera (talk) 00:22, 18 April 2018 (UTC)

Article is new enough and long enough. It is stable, and free of plagiarism and copyright violations. The article is also adequately sourced: the hook is interesting and verified in the source. A QPQ review was done. ALT0 is approved, but I would suggest an alternate hook involving this statement ("during the festival, heavy rainfall overwhelmed the park's drainage capabilities and formed a standing body of water nicknamed 'Lake Mo'") be proposed here, as that statement seems pretty quirky and hooky. Per Narutolovehinata5:
ALT1: ... that during the 2015 Mo Pop Festival in Detroit, heavy rainfall overwhelmed the park's drainage capabilities and formed a standing body of water nicknamed "Lake Mo Pop"? Detroit Free Press 1 and Detroit Free Press 2

  • ALT1 hook ref verified and cited inline. Rest of review per Narutolovehinata5. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 22:56, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
