Missing (Body of Proof)[edit]

Slaine (pictured) is better known as a rapper, rather than an actor.

  • ... that Body of Proof episode "Missing" featured Slaine (pictured) as the episodes murderer, a role which was his first venture into network television?

Long enough, well written and interesting. Good to go, but some QPQ will be needed before that. Jaespinoza (talk) 19:43, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
  • I want to give this a grey checkmark because sources are reliable, but I can't. I know that this is not a Good Article Nominee review, but I fail to see how it is independent from season two. No offense, but context looks mergeable for Body of Proof (season 2), including DVD information and story arcs (inc. romance) in Production section. Also, Reception section has only a full paragraph about one review, which needs trimming.
Look at episodes of Cheers (season 2) and cheers (season 3); they aren't inherently or strongly, independently notable, and Rescue Me (Cheers) will be merged when consensus agrees to merge. I may have done these Cheers articles (except "Rescue Me"), but I know I would not write articles about individual episodes that are not independent from seasons. Look at Coach's Daughter, Give Me a Ring Sometime, The Boys in the Bar, and Showdown (Cheers) (articles that I contributed); they are independent from season one because I made an effort.
Back on topic, even if Body of Proof (season 2) looks messy right now, especially with size, creating an article about one episode should not be a reason to avoid improving a season article. --George Ho (talk) 17:33, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
I completly disagree. Many and most episodes from television shows need articles, all 30 Rock episodes have articles, as do Simpsons, Family Guy, Desperate Housewives, Doctor Who, Awake, Fringe, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, The Office, The X Files; the list is endless. This article is no different to them, and has exactly as good quality as even the highest standards of the articles I have just made a point of notifiying. Honestly, I believe you are very rude, "I made an effort" gives the idea that I did not, which is very harsh; and these episodes stand strong by themselves. — M.Mario (T/C) 16:50, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
30 Rock (season 2) is nothing compared to Body of Proof (season 2). To make up my rudeness, maybe we can work together to improve the season article? As for episodes, I don't see how episodes of Body of Proof are as significant as those of other shows. I see two episode articles made, and I'm sure that you (and I if you want) can focus on one season before one episode next time, right? --George Ho (talk) 17:05, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Although I would be happy to collaborate, working on episodes is vital to getting the season articles the best they can be. If the episode articles I were creating were of poor quality, then I would give in a propose a merge. But as the episode articles are of high quality and written well, a 8/9 episodes of the first season are GA's, with the final one under construction, it would be a shame to merge good articles. Also, I am under the basis of creating a featured topic for the seasons. Just because Body of Proof is not as prominent as other shows, does not mean that the episode articles are not. So rounding up, yes a season FL would be nice, but there will be a significant amount of information and quality lost if episodes are merged. — M.Mario (T/C) 17:14, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Power Play (Cheers) was an article; it was a Good Article and featured as part of DYK. However, when Cheers (season 2) moved to mainspace, the episode article became mergeable. --George Ho (talk) 18:02, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
A good example is Woody Interruptus, a Cheers episode. The episode is notable but the actual article is not great. that does not mean it should be merged, just expanded. Body of Proof episodes are notable, and expanded, so if my believing is right, they shoudl stay where they are? — M.Mario (T/C) 17:19, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Regardless of notability, "Woody Interruptus" is a weak as a stand-alone article. If Cheers (season 9) is created, then the episode article may look mergeable. Since there are no rules about notability of episodes, I don't know what to say. Season pages of Body of Proof should have been improved, but I'm torn right now about this article. this Jaespinoza says that this article is all right; I say that this article is mergeable. We'll have another reviewer take care of this. --George Ho (talk) 17:47, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Seeing as this is the first DYK review to have this picked upon; I am surprised. 9 DYK reviews have gone through without question, all or most done by different reviewers, of the upmost highest standard. — M.Mario (T/C) 17:52, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
About the hook, now that the QPQ has been fulfilled, it is good to go. . Jaespinoza (talk) 19:37, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
To promoter, if no 3rd reviewer is needed, we'll let issues put aside and get this nomination over with. --George Ho (talk) 20:56, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
