Lu Xun Park (Shanghai)[edit]

Yun Bong-gil

5x expanded by Difference engine (talk). Self-nominated at 19:58, 16 May 2015 (UTC).

  • Really nice work expanding the article! It's new enough, long enough, and well referenced, but I don't think the hook is interesting enough. The Korean nationalist (perhaps with picture) assassinating Japanese generals and diplomats in a Chinese park would make a much more interesting hook, IMO. -Zanhe (talk) 05:55, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Yeah, I was thinking about that. How about:
ALT1: ... that Korean nationalist Yun Bong-gil (pictured) used a bomb to assassinate Japanese officials gathered in Shanghai's Hongkou Park?

  • ALT1 sounds good, but the image is not used in the article, as per DYK requirement. You could either add Yun's image to the article, or use the image of the Yun memorial, or the Japanese officials. -Zanhe (talk) 19:31, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Image added to article. Thanks for reminding me about the requirement. --Difference engine (talk) 20:08, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Everything checks out. Image is public domain, QPQ is done. No copyvio found. Good to go. -Zanhe (talk) 19:49, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
