Insufficient progress toward resolving outstanding issues

Lindsay, Pontypool and Bobcaygeon Railway[edit]

Created by Maury Markowitz (talk). Self nominated at 10:41, 12 August 2013 (UTC).

  • Article - created new on 11 August, so new enough; 8837 characters of readable prose, so long enough; neutral; un-assessed, so not a stub.
I have tried to sort the refs as they were showing as an error for me (not a DYK requirement but didn't take too long to fix, so I just did it - Maury, please check I've done this correctly); I have also slightly re-jigged a couple of sentences, which were being thrown up by duplication detector; and adjusted the article link in the hook as it was going to a re-direct. However, I think a few things still need to be looked at:
1. Some paragraphs have no inline citations;
2. A QPQ requires to be undertaken (Maury looks to have quite a number of DYK credits);
3. I'm guessing the hook, which is 146 characters, is from the second paragraph of the 'Services' section, ref #5? To me, the hook isn't following the wording of the article closely enough (others may disagree).

Please address the above - thanks! SagaciousPhil - Chat 10:11, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

There has been no response or action on the above requests despite notices on the talk page the same day, and two weeks later. Another week has passed, and the creator has been active editing other articles, including railway articles, but not this one. Nomination will have to be closed as unsuccessful.
