Ko e Iki he Lagi[edit]

Flag of Niue

  • The readable prose in this article is around 1400 characters, not 1500. This is excluding the lyrics and translation of the song itself, which is not considered to be prose in the article. I checked the source for the hook and it is in the CIA world factbook as cited. I have doubts that the other source is reliable, but it can still be included. I see no close paraphrasing or copyright concerns. I really would like to see this pass the DYK and I hope just a little more text can be included somehow. If more can be added, then I would say this passes. Blue Rasberry (talk) 16:55, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
  • @Bluerasberry: When I run the history and opening through the character count it comes out as 1535. I'll try to add a little more but the sources are so scarce, there isn't much else I can add. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk)
  • ALT1 to add some context, clarify the relevance of the image, and (IMO) make the hook more interesting: ... that no one knows who created "The Lord in Heaven", the national anthem of Niue (flag pictured)? 97198 (talk) 09:04, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
  • The C of E I must have made a mistake, but it seems there is more content now anyway. I counted again and there is 1600+ characters. This passes. Blue Rasberry (talk) 11:51, 12 July 2014 (UTC)

I sure hope no one makes a fuss about religious offense here. It's perfectly fine. (ALT1 completely sucks all the fun out of the hook, IMO.) ALT0 to prep1 with image (though it could run without image perfectly well -- last slot would be good in that case). EEng (talk) 16:39, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
