    • ALT1:... that singer-songwriter Jo Carol Pierce attended high school with artists Joe Ely and Butch Hancock in Lubbock, Texas? Source: [2] "After her father was killed in Korea, she and her mother moved to Lubbock, where she attended school with the likes of Ely and Hancock."

  • Article is new, long enough, and within policy. I think the alternate hook is more interesting and would add the word "artists": "... that singer-songwriter Jo Carol Pierce attended high school with artists Joe Ely and Butch Hancock in Lubbock, Texas?" The source checks out correctly and the hook appears in the article. QPQ is done. I think all is good. Malinaccier (talk) 07:03, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
