- Why is this so unusual? Wales is a small country; a lot of people leave it and make their careers elsewhere. And as far as I know there's no requirement that Anglican or Episcopalian clergy be born in the country of their church. Daniel Case (talk) 06:05, 23 September 2015 (UTC)
- As far as I am aware, there is no requirement for DYKs to be unusual, just interesting. However, it is not particularly common for an individual to be priested in one church and to become a bishop in another; especially when that involves moving continents. Wales may seem very small compared to the USA but there are much smaller countries in Europe. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 11:28, 23 September 2015 (UTC)

This article is a five-fold expansion and is new enough and long enough. The article is neutral and I detected no policy issues. Sorry to be difficult, but Rowthern was not born in Gwent as that county did not exist at the time. He was born in the historic county of Monmouthshire, and the status of that county is unclear as to whether it was part of Wales or of England. The phrase "Wales and Monmouthshire" used to be used. It would be safer to not mention his birthplace as Wales in the hook. You could have ALT2 or go for him having been a bishop on two continents. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:23, 26 September 2015 (UTC)
