Comment Please put (pictured) in the hook and also the hook doesn't seem interesting to a broad audience who may not know what a dogū is. I would advise something like "was the first Jōmon period artifact to be designated a National Treasure" or that it was the only figurine to survive with limbs.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 17:36, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

Article is new enough and long enough. Article is referenced and so are the hooks although ALT1 is more interesting, Also image is properly licensed. QPQ done and no copyright or neutrality issues detected. I recommend promotion with the image.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 23:40, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
