  • ... that despite homosexuality being punishable by death, Iranian activists celebrate IranPride Day (pictured) by taking pictures of themselves holding rainbow flags in public locations around Tehran? [1]
    • ALT1:... that ...? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)

  • Article is long enough and new enough, and adequately sourced. No QPQ needed for the nominator. The image source seems to be dead but the image does appear to be appropriately licensed. There are just two minor issues that need to be addressed Catrìona, the article is currently tagged as a stub (this needs to be removed and the article re-classed as Start), and the phrase "Iranian media inside the country don't publish about LGBT Rights topics" (which itself may need to be rephased) lacks a reference. • Thanks for the review, Narutolovehinata5. I've now removed the stub tag, the article is already classed as start on the talk page. I fixed the section that was insufficiently referenced and added some more info in case it fell under the word count. Catrìona (talk) 02:23, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
Thanks, should be good to go now. I note that there's a minor typo in the article: "In July 2010, Resalat Newspaper, one of the conservative newspapers in Iran has published a news piece about the event" should probably not have the word "has" before "published", but I guess that can be done before this gets promoted.  Fixed Thanks! Catrìona (talk) 00:35, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
  • @Catrìona and Narutolovehinata5: Coming to promote this, I find that the article does not mention that the photos show "public locations around Teheran" so that should not be stated in the hook. That is the sort of mistake that will likely be picked up at "ERRORS". Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:33, 31 August 2018 (UTC)

  • I didn't realize that would be an issue. Here is a suggeston that sidesteps the issue: ALT1 ... that despite homosexuality being punishable by death, Iranian activists celebrate IranPride Day (pictured) by taking pictures of themselves holding rainbow flags in Tehran?
RahamRaf has recently uploaded the photo at right, claiming own work. I think it would be a better choice because it is clearer at a small size. Catrìona (talk) 17:25, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
