Hedwig Kettler[edit]

  • ... that Hedwig Kettler founded the first girls' high school in Germany?

Interesting biography on good sources! A high school isn't exactly a German Gymnasium, - can we inform our readers about that? I tried in the article. How about "the first school of higher education for girls"? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:44, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
@Gerda Arendt: Thanks for the review. It's a bit difficult to concisely explain what a Gymnasium is in English, but I think this more cryptic hook could work nicely (I suspect most readers will assume it refers to a gym)... What do you think?
