Fox Broadcasting Co. v. Dish Network, LLC[edit]

  • ... that Fox Broadcasting Co. v. Dish Network, LLC was a 9th Cir. decision that upheld and unequivocally showed that advertisements were a financing mechanism, but they were not part of the copyrighted work?

Created by MasanoriSasaki (talk). Nominated by Sashashekhar (talk) at 09:02, 30 October 2013 (UTC).

  • The hook is currently 203 characters long and thus slightly over the limit. Also "9th Cir. decision" is unclear as it is not obvious what it means and this should be reworded in the new hook. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 12:28, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
  • On further investigation, the page was created on 30 September and had a last major expansion on 18 October and was nominated on 28 October. This is outside the 5 day window so unfortunately, this is not eligible for DYK. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 12:36, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Go get this reviewed as a GA. Once passed, there'll be another 5-day window of DYK eligibility. Good Luck! --PFHLai (talk) 07:12, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
  • This can be renominated then. For now, it's ineligible, and the nomination should be closed. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:36, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
