Fort San Lorenzo ruins at Portobelo

  • ... that 10 different fortifications (pictured, a fort) built on the hills behind Portobelo port, made it the "most heavily fortified Spanish coastal control point in the Americas"?

Thank you for a World Heritage Site! Good sources. My version of the hook would be
  • ALT1: ... that ten fortifications (example pictured) built on the hills behind Portobelo port made it the "most heavily fortified Spanish coastal control point in the Americas"?
I don't find the quotation in the article, also I think mentioning World Heritage would be more attractive, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:41, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
@Gerda Arendt: thank you for the review. The "most heavily" quotation is in the History section, para1 (Showker, 2008, p. 397). I like the idea of mentioning this a World Heritage site; Dr. B, Nvv, and I are open for Alt suggestions! --Rosiestep (talk) 14:01, 23 June 2015 (UTC)
Please use the wording from the source (quoted) in the article, for better justification of using it here. An ALT better not from me, or I can't approve it ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:08, 23 June 2015 (UTC)
I said "are" for is" --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:43, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
