Eye On It[edit]

  • Comment: The above hook is what Billboard has projected from sales figures. Wednesday September 5 is when the official charts will be published.

  • Sorry, the above nom is a bit late due to a time zone difference. The nom date switched from current to past as I was constructing the nom (I would have done it earlier but I have just moved into college and am still getting adjusted).--¿3family6 contribs 23:45, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
  • I have some serious reservations with this nomination. First off, the official listing has not been revealed yet - it is projected to beat it but projections can be wrong. Crazy things happen. Further, the article, at 675 characters, is less than half the required length for a DYK, 1500 characters. However, the article can easily be expanded by, for example, adding sections on critical reception.
  • I'll be more than willing to hold this nomination until the article is expanded, as it could easily be do. I will point out that if it does hit the top spot, that it would be the first Christian album to do it since LeAnn Rimes' You Light Up My Life: Inspirational Songs did so in 1997. Therefore, I'd suggest the hook point it out - that would make it much more interesting and give it a good chance at having a good amount of views. :) Toa Nidhiki05 00:06, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
  • I realize that the projections could be wrong. Since the article needs to be expanded anyway, it can probably sit here until the chart listings come out. Sorry about the size, I forgot all about that.--¿3family6 contribs 00:27, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
  • That's fine - saying it is projected is OK, but that ruins the better hook options. Also, it could sell more or less - usually the predictions are within maybe 5-6,000, but they are rarely exact. The top ten are announced on Wednesday on Billboard.biz, so you should be able to know by then. :) Toa Nidhiki05 00:31, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Alright, the article is long enough now. That should be good enough to promote, I think. Toa Nidhiki05 15:49, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Can we have please have two things from the reviewer: an approval tick, assuming that the nomination is formally approved, and a confirmation that the chart listings have come out and the hook is accurate and sourced in the article to the actual Billboard chart numbers as published? Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:24, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Wow, can't believe I forgot to add the tick. The chart listings are confirmed, the hook is accurate and is interesting. Good to go! Toa Nidhiki05 02:45, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
