  • New enough, long enough, no copyvio detected. Article is sourced, but has QPQ been done? If so it passes. White Arabian Filly Neigh 21:32, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
@White Arabian Filly and Buster7: shouldn't need a QPQ is only his 3rd DYK and 2nd nomination [1], but if you insist, I can donate one. SusunW (talk) 21:40, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
In that case, it passes. No need for a QPQ here. White Arabian Filly Neigh 21:50, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but find that the hook reads very heavy, with multisyllabic words and unfamiliar place names. Would you consider something a little hookier?
  • ALT1: ... that during their art training, Ethel V. Ashton and her classmates Rhoda Medary and Alice Neel used each other and people they met on the street as models? Yoninah (talk) 21:48, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
The proposed alternate focuses on an entirely different hook..i.e..her classmates. Ashton and Neel eventually had differences and I feel it may be inappropriate to imply their classmate relationship was life-long. Therefore, I propose...
  • OK, but would you click on that hook if you weren't from Pennsylvania? Yoninah (talk) 19:18, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
Sure. If I was an artist, if I was interested in the Works Progress Administration, if I was a historian interested in what followed the Great Depression, if I was interested in how women are portrayed on Wikipedia, lots more ifs but I hope you see my point. Ive seen many a DYK that had no interest whatsoever. Buster Seven Talk 19:52, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
Fair enough. I added "1941" to the hook to put it in context. ALT2 hook ref verified and cited inline. Rest of review per White Arabian Filly. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 19:58, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
