Erwadi dargah[edit]

Erwadi dargah
Erwadi dargah
  • ... that in the Erwadi dargah (pictured), well known for healing mentally deranged people, the cure offered to the sick people is only the holy water from the dargha twice a day, apart from prayers?

Long enough—the page was only previously a redirect, new enough, QPQ done. The hook is a bit wordy and could do with trimming, but is within the 200 characters. However its biggest problem is that it is not neutral, and neither is the article as a whole. The claim that this institution succeeds in "curing" anyone at all is cited to an article about 28 of their residents being burnt to death while chained to each other. The article claims that chains are no longer used, but all three cites for that sentence confirm that they are still used, two cites saying only that usage is reduced. The history section seems completely unable to distinguish mythology from established history and in my opinion, any article that makes medical claims should be sourced to WP:MEDRS standards, which this one is not. The lead is also very confusing, saying that there are three dargahs in Erwadi, but the article appears to be about only one of them. That would indicate the article should either be renamed, or the scope expanded with a plural title. In short, it is nowhere near ready for the main page. SpinningSpark 01:54, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
