Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong collaborations[edit]

Created by CoffeeWithMarkets (talk). Nominated by SSTflyer (talk) at 10:57, 6 March 2016 (UTC).

  • Created on March 1, nom on March 6/new enough. 6218 char/long enough. Neutral. No apparent copyvios. No image in nomination. Hook is interesting and under 200 maximum char count. Issues:
  • QPQ appears only to have been a comment, as in-depth review by nominator or creator is missing from Foroughi article and appears to be in progress by another reviewer.
  • Entire background section is unsourced as is the paragraph beginning "Porgy and Bess, which came out in April 1959,..." DYK requires a minimum of 1 citation per paragraph.
  • I am unsure that the hook, as stated, is valid. According to this and this this Ella and Louis released tracks together, as well as albums. Perhaps it would be better stated to say 3 official album releases?
  • I also don't see the hook stated in the article, other than in the lede, which is typically an uncited summary. That they made three albums together is confirmed in [1] and [2]
