Lunalilo

Created/expanded by KAVEBEAR (talk). Self-nominated at 19:07, 1 July 2015 (UTC).

  • Length, date and hook reference verified and found in order. QPQ done. No copy vio noted. As it is an article on Eliza why not user her img riding a horse instead of the king for this DYK.--Nvvchar. 16:54, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
  • @Nvvchar: That is not a picture of Eliza but an illustration of female horseriding in that period of the Kingdom's history. It's an "early Hawaiian female equestrian from an engraving by Benson John Lossing and William Barrit, 1854." No image of Eliza exist that I know of. Seeing as this figure's fame was so strongly tied to Lunalilo, using the image of the King for the DYK seems appropriate. --KAVEBEAR (talk) 17:49, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks for clarifying the status of the img. In that case img as propsoed is fine and is with free license. The article is given the green tick . --Nvvchar. 18:41, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
