Couldn't Get It Right[edit]

  • ... that Climax Blues Band's "Couldn't Get It Right" annoyed the producers of its corresponding studio album, Gold Plated, because they thought the band had spent eight albums withholding a hit record from them?
  • Comment: I haven't bothered checking the length of the hook.

  • How do you "spend" an album? EEng (talk) 21:40, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
It's the time between their first album and their ninth album, I was using an album as a unit of measurement. If there is another way of putting it succinctly I'm all ears.--Launchballer 22:44, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
  • The length of the hook is 207 characters, so it's ineligible regardless. Also, it's been over three weeks since this article was nominated, and a QPQ has yet to be supplied. Please take care of both of these issues if you wish this nomination to proceed. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:03, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Just remove the third to last word, record, which would cut it down to 200 characters exactly.

  • Full review needed now that QPQ has been supplied and hook is no longer above the absolute maximum length. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:43, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
@Launchballer: You should put the source next to the hook that you have proposed. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 04:42, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
I have? Look for "withholding a hit from them.[4]".--Launchballer 08:08, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
"...they did not have a great impact on the charts" needs one, as long as it has special impact on your proposed hook. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 12:00, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
I've added a source there but I cannot grasp the relevance to the hook.--Launchballer 16:38, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
It is good to have source along with the major facts on your article. You have completed that request, therefore I would pass. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 01:25, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
