Come Dancing[edit]

  • ... that when the Kinks were recording their 1983 hit single "Come Dancing," the record company requested lead singer Ray Davies to sing in an "American accent"?

5x expanded by Beatleswhobeachboys (talk). Self-nominated at 20:38, 28 May 2015 (UTC).

  • Lead adjusted for good/British English. No doubt ENGVAR applies to hooks too. Johnbod (talk) 18:27, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
  • - Not expanded 5X within time limit. I see that you nominated for DYK on 28 May 2015. The Rule says "DYK is only for articles that, within the past seven days, have been either created [or] expanded at least fivefold." I don't see where it has been expanded 5X from 21 May 2015.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 12:12, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
I was not aware of that rule: I apologize (although, if it passes its GA, I may renominate it). Beatleswhobeachboys (talk) 18:54, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Sounds good = then we will probably have a DYK.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 19:27, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Not 5x expanded; closing as unsuccessful. As noted, this can be nominated again if listed as a Good Article, as long as the nomination is within a week of listing. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:25, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
