  • Per WT:DYK#Piri & Tommy Villiers song hooks, ALT2 has been struck. ALT0 and ALT1 are still eligible for review. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 10:26, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
    • Looks like this nom got left behind. A lot of those right now. Will review sometime today. Ping if no progress 24 hours from this comment. ~ Pbritti (talk) 05:29, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
      • Waffled a bit on this. Per requirements: QPQ done, sourcing is OK (but music subjects necessitate use of some less ideal RSs), new enough, long enough, and hooks are sourced accurately with citations. However, Earwig returned a surprisingly high score, mostly due to block quotes. I encourage Launchballer to revise some passages to paraphrase. ~ Pbritti (talk) 22:20, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
Here's an interesting quirk; when I click "Earwig's Copyvio Detector", it displays 0%, but when I go into page --> analysis --> copyright vio detector, it says 47.4%. I call false positive; Earwig is unable to tell the difference between copyvio and attributed opinion, which this all is. All the quotes are below forty words and thus adhere to MOS:BQ. (But I am with you with 'less ideal RSs' - Fluxblog is not a source I'd use for anything other than attributed opinion.)--Launchballer 22:40, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
with preference for ALT0. Launchballer, I agree that the Earwig tool is a bit goofy sometimes and I usually get the beachball of death when I use it. If you think that direct quotes of the length you use are preferable over paraphrasing, I am willing to wave my concerns. With the similar issue of public domain material not counting towards character count, I want to say that this is a qualified approval which I think might see some challenge by someone with more DYK experience. Thanks you for your noms and contributions! (Also, per your talk, should I stop pinging you with the U template on articles I can presume you have on your watchlist?) ~ Pbritti (talk) 23:04, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
