  • ALT1 is good, I find ALT0 a bit confusing as to whether Philip had his own ships burnt of if he had his enemies (the Frenchs') ships burnt. L293D ( • ) 12:21, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
@L293D: Hi, what do you think of ALT2? Any clearer? Gog the Mild (talk) 21:38, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
I personally prefer ALT1, but I would propose a modification to ALT2:
ALT2a... that after the English navy defeated Philip II's French fleet, Philip had his surviving ships burnt to avoid capture? L293D ( • ) 23:31, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
@L293D: Yes, that's better. Thanks. I am not sure which I prefer. I would suggest leaving both and letting the closing editor choose, if you are ok with that? Gog the Mild (talk) 23:40, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
Yes, that's good. L293D ( • ) 01:23, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
