Substantial bio with many aspects, on a load of sources, - looks like you are on your way to GA? No copyvio obvious. The spectacular portrait is licensed. I am not happy with the hook, because, yes she looks like an actress, but we ignorant watchers should be told so for more surprise, instead of having philantropy twice. I also believe that the full titles of the awards are too long to be quoted in full. I suggest you mention one of them fully, or say summarily that both awarded her for humanitarian work. Thanks for your comments Gerda Arendt, I've reworked the hook and came up with this revision. Would appreciate your comments if it needs polishing, etc.
I like that much better! I'd drop education, as rather pale in comparison. What's "internally"? I'd also not pipe the persons to the siege. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:20, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt, thanks for your comments, I have dropped education, and unlinked the rest as they are rather self-explanatory-ish. As for internally displaced persons, it is a synonymous term for "refugees", but to be technically correct, refugees are those forced to leave their home and have settled in another country (crossing borders), while internally displaced persons are still considered "refugees" but those forced to leave their home but remain within their country's borders.
