Tazehabad (Persian: تازه اباد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Kelarabad-e Gharbi Rural District[b] of Salmanshahr District, Abbasabad County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,360 in 377 households, when it was in Kelarabad Rural District of the former Abbasabad District of Tonekabon County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,480 people in 455 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Abbasabad County.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,425 people in 475 households, when it had been transferred to the newly established Salmanshahr District.[2]
